Anthony Fisher

Growing up I had a rough childhood. Moving around from house to house with nothing consistent in my life.. until I found wrestling. Wrestling gave me purpose, drive, and direction as to who I wanted to be and where I wanted to go with my life. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for this sport. I have a family of my own with my fiancé, son, and another son who’s due in September. I love them very dearly and they make me extremely happy. I look forward to marrying my other half, raising our future state champions, and changing lives through this wrestling club.

Coach Fisher wrestled for Dover High school, Iowa lakes Community College, and Morningside University during his wrestling career. In Highschool he was a 4x state qualifier, 2x Henlopen Conf. Champion, a State Champion and All-American. In college he became an All-American placing 4th his Sophomore year at the NJCAA wrestling tournament. Here is a list of notable wrestling tournaments he has placed in:

2017 MAWA eastern nationals champion
2017 NUWAY summer nationals champion
2023 War at The Shore champion
2023 NUWAY summer nationals champion

Taqee Williams

Taqee Williams wrestled at Dover high where he was a 4 year varsity wrestler. He was a 3x henlopen conference placer and 3x state qualifier, he continued his wrestling career at Lackawanna college. In his free time Coach Williams likes to play with his dogs and if he’s not at a tournament he’s at a dog show. Other than wrestling Coach Williams also enjoys hanging with his friends and family.

From the gritty challenges of a rough neighborhood, wrestling emerged as a beacon of hope and transformation for me. It wasn't just a sport—it was my sanctuary, a place where dedication trumped natural talent, and perseverance was the daily drill. My wrestling career may have started without fanfare, but my commitment to self-improvement never waned. Each season, I returned to the mat with a fierce determination to surpass my own benchmarks and to uplift those around me.

My tenacity became contagious; I pushed my teammates, believing wholeheartedly in their potential to achieve greatness. Together, we shattered the limits of what we thought possible. My relentless drive led to personal victories as well—I proudly stood as a District Champion, earned the title of Regional's Most Outstanding Wrestler and Champion, and claimed the eighth-place title in the state of New Jersey. Achievements that many thought were unattainable became my reality.

Now, I channel my passion for wrestling into coaching and refereeing, fostering the seeds of potential I see in every young athlete. Witnessing the metamorphosis of the kids I coach, as they reach the heights of excellence I always envisioned for them, is the greatest reward. My journey through wrestling is more than a personal triumph; it's a continuing narrative of inspiration, a testament to the power of belief and the enduring spirit of determination.
